I tried to get a picture of Kuma resting majestically on our balcony in the pool of today's last sunbeams, wind in his hair like he was born of the sky. He lifted his head and just let the breeze catch his ears and soak into him with his eyes closed but then he opened them and noticed I was watching so he came running before I could get a photo

I haven't lain out by the pool, my insecurity is at an all time high so I try to avoid existing anywhere in anyone's field of view as much as possible. Sometimes Kuma and I lie in the afternoon sunbeams in the living room if the day is breezy and sunny and sleepy enough for a nap with the door and windows open though.
